News from the church office
Over the past three years, Gill Gregory has held the important job of being our Church Administrator. She has brought real gifts of kindness and pastoral care, opening the office each morning with morning prayer, and bringing a wealth of experience from a previous career working in the NHS. It is important for her to step aside from this role to help care for family and to finish her theology degree, but she will still be part of the ministry team and will continue her role as licensed lay minister (reader). So this is less of a goodbye and more of a change of emphasis. We are reminded in Ecclesiastes that ‘there is a time and season for all things’ and so we bless her as her time becomes focused in new ways.
Gill’s last day with us as administrator will be on Thursday 28th May. If you are able please join us for a little tea party at 11am in the church hall.
If you would like to contribute to a thank you gift please leave an envelope marked ‘For the attention of the Vicar (GG)’ in the letter box by the church hall door.
